Last Wishes of Father

Scatter his ashes on the water
And as he floats on our wakes wave
Shed no tear by son nor daughter
Or duty visits to his grave.....
Won't bury him beneath the ground
No cold imprisoned tomb for him
Or headstone with an Earthy mound
That's not his place so dark and grim.
It's where the winds blow fresh and free
I know that he will lie content
The River he loved his cemetery
The currents his only monument.....
